Payne & Gunter’s brand refresh retains fruity roots

Monday, September 25, 2023 - 09:30

Established in 1786, Payne & Gunter is London’s original event caterer. However, while still embracing our rich history, the brand has shifted towards a forward-thinking, more conscious catering mindset in recent years. That’s why the team here at Payne & Gunter felt it was time for a brand refresh that offers a cleaner, more intuitive experience for event planners, venue partners, guests and delegates.

A crown of glorious hospitality

Our previous logo featured the Payne & Gunter crest, nodding to our brand’s regal roots and great British heritage. With the pineapple centred, this has always helped position us as deliverers of the highest-quality hospitality.

Our new simplified logo integrates the pineapple into the Payne & Gunter name itself, with the ‘N’ in Payne and the ‘U’ in Gunter forming the top and bottom of the pineapple. This represents how high-end hospitality is at our brand's core - serving spectacular food and drinks and surpassing guests’ expectations at every event we cater for.

Bringing Great British hospitality to life

Since our story began in the 18th century, we’ve been crafting a unique recipe for making events and spaces come to life. Alongside developing our new logo, we wanted the brand refresh to convey our unrivalled experience in serving up the finest British hospitality at leading UK events. We’ve done this through a freshly-defined strapline, ‘Quintessential British Hospitality’, as well as an overhaul to our collateral and this brand new, intuitive website.
